On 24th November, the groundbreaking ceremony of NCS new in-flight catering facility was officially kicked off.
We had the opportunity to welcome the head of the People's Committee of Soc Son district, Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, Vietnam Airlines Corporation and subsidiaries, Governmental agencies and officials, local area firms and representatives of more than 20 domestic and international airlines.
Noibai Catering Services new facility Project which is in the overall development plan of Noibai international airport has been approved by the Vietnam Prime Minister in Decision No. 590/ QD-TTg on 20/05/2008. The project covers an area of 21.047 m2, with a total investment of nearly 700 billion Vietnam dong. The capacity is expected to be up to 45.000 meals/ day. The construction will be finished in Fourteen months from today. The facility technology is consulted by IO- Consultants PTE - the professional architectural consultant for many leading Caterers all over the world.
At the ceremony, Mr. Tran Thanh Son - General Director emphasized: " The construction of the NCS new facility is the affirmation and commitment of the entire Board of Directors and our employees to the clients: Always provide the best products and services with the slogan: "Always give you a flavor" and the commitments: Safety – Punctuality - Quality - Efficiency.
We strongly commit to allocate all resources to complete the project as schedule”.
At the ceremony, Mr. Dang Ngoc Hoa Vietnam Airline’s Deputy General Director said: "Vietnam Airlines Corporation’s Board of Directors believes that, along with the start of construction of new modern technology facility, NCS will continue to promote their current values to continue delight more and more clients. This will be the first firm step to actualize the NCS vision: Become the industry standard in the Asia-pacific area, as well as contribute to build up Vietnam Airlines Corporation to become a strong economic corporation, the major transportation force in domestic and regional air traffic".
The new facility is projected to be completed and put into operation in the second quarter of 2018, when NCS remarks 25 years of development.
