Deep among the lush forests of Trong Hoa Commune, Minh Hoa District, Quang Binh Province, scattered stilt houses form villages inhabited by ethnic minority communities in one of Vietnam’s particularly disadvantaged areas. At daybreak, the NCS delegation began its journey through the mountain passes to bring the warmth of Tết to local residents.
After traveling nearly a thousand kilometers, 200 Lunar New Year gift packages from Noi Bai Catering Services Joint Stock Company reached villages across Trong Hoa Commune. Each package included a 5kg bag of rice, a bag of traditional Tết confectionery and a lucky-money envelope containing VND 500,000.
The “Tết Trao Yêu Thương” charity journey was warmly welcomed by local residents. Bringing greetings from Hanoi and the warmth of the approaching Lunar New Year, the NCS delegation met with local families and presented gifts to help them enjoy a warmer and more fulfilling Tết.
This was NCS’s first charity trip of 2025, opening a new year of meaningful community initiatives centered on sharing compassion and delivering practical support to communities across Vietnam.
